With the development of the mobile industry, there has been a great increase in the number of malware that threatens user security. Hackers who keep an eye on people’s hard-earned money and personal information continue to come up with new methods that make us give up.

New mobile applications containing malware (trojans) are being added daily. A trojan named Anatsa was detected in five Android applications in the Google Play Store. Experts recommend removing this software without delay.

By 2024, we carry all our important data on our smartphones, and therefore, we need to be careful with every application we download. Unfortunately, in some cases, software containing trojans can pass through Google Play Store and App Store controls and threaten user security.

Thread Fabric’s latest report reveals that the banking trojan named Anatsa was detected in five Android applications. Although these applications have now been removed from the Play Store, they still continue to pose a danger to the smartphones and tablets on which they were previously installed.

Here are five Android applications in which the Anatsa banking trojan was detected:

We can say that the main problem with this software is the ability of a hacker to take control of your device without your knowledge after it is installed. In addition to accessing your personal data, the attacker can also cause you losses by making payments through your banking applications. In short, software containing the Anatsa trojan can drain your bank account. Finally, let us note that these applications were downloaded 150 to 200 thousand times before they were removed from the Google Play Store.

What do you think about this? How can such malware be prevented? Don’t forget to share your opinions with us in the comments section!
